Hello World!
Welcome to my website where I talk about video games and other things that interest me, which really can by almost anything. I play lots of DOOM and Touhou, which are my two favorite games by far. I also am very interested in computers. On my computer I currently run Ubuntu Linux as my splash screen for Emacs (lol). I write this website in emacs and then copy-paste the source into neocities. I also own the domain softlocked.net. It's very likely that by the time you're reading this, I've already set it up so that domain points toward my neocities website via neocities premium.
I have absolutly no idea how to use HTML or CSS so this website is going to be janky as fuck and hard to read probably. Currently it's all just black-on-white, which is an eye-sore for some. I'll work to theme the website soon enough but for now this works.
Currently, I have plans for making a DOOM walk through full of secrets and other tips and tricks found by me myself and I. It wouldn't be the most interesting or useful portion of my site, seeing as how DOOM has been played by millions for almost 40-or-so years by this point, but as someone who's just experiencing all the secrets it has to offer it's surely going to be fun to write about. I do not let myself be spoiled by googling and play the game with no saves.
For example, I spent probably 20 minutes or so today just looking for the red key on e2m1, and couldn't find it. I'll be back for it though.... I'll find it eventually.
